Projexasia was appointed as the Main Contractor in July 2014 for this landmark building renovation project. The scope of works was for major renovations to the New Bright Building in Kowloon Bay, requiring the building usage change from Industrial to Commercial. The works involve major A&A Works, new façade envelope, change of use of all lifts from industrial to passenger, installation of escalator, slab strengthening for car showroom, replacement of E&M services and fit-out to G/F – 1/F atrium, 1/F – 9/F lift lobbies, toilets and a 9/F Skylight. The construction was undertaken in accordance with BEAM Plus Version 1.2 for New Buildings.
