Renovation of Shop 21 includes demolition of the existing metal structure, glass panes and associated supports, erection of a new glass shopfront with all hot dipped galvanized mild steel (GMS) support, structural sealant, metal work, tempered glass and laminated glass roof.
Alteration to the adjacent protected lobby includes demolition of the existing protected lobby and erection of a new protected lobby with the change in the means of escape (MOE) path.
This is a fast track project and also involves comprehensive BD submission issues, which requires Registered General Building Contractor (RGBC) for the A & A works, and manage the demolition works.
